Taking a day off

Amy passed through the streets with a frown on her face as was usual. Her eyes were downcast and in a way formed into an angry expression. The sky above was dark and empty and it made her feel at home. Her heart was at home here. Not a tear was shed from her eyes though. Not a word from her lips either. A silence held the air, but she enjoyed it. It wasn't something she got much of. The wind ruffling her white hair beneath the black hood. Her skirt swayed on her lap as she took agitated steps forward. The boots clicking slightly with each movement.
