Carys' home.

His smile faded and he nodded solemnly. "I get it, Car. I fuck up, I'm gone."
He'd have to really watch himself from now on.

She nodded, drying her hands "Good. And maybe, if you're a good boy, I'll reward you later."

"Are you bringing your shit in or what?" she asked, looking out to his car "Before it gets dark."

"I like rewards, 'specially when they're from you." he winked, and made his way out the door. He didn't have much with him, just one duffel bag filled with a few personal belongings, which he slung over his shoulder and brought back inside with him.

Carys shook her head and laid down on the couch as he left. When he re-entered, she raised an eyebrow "That's all you have?"

He followed her gaze down to his bag and shrugged. "Yeah, don't really have much of a place to put things."

SHe smiled up at him and shrugged "Awww, I bet you miss your playstation and xbox."

Carys then smiled playfully and winked "Lucky I have both."

Matt's eyes literally lit up at this comment. "And how soon can I play them?"

"I'm curious," she smirked, standing up in front of him "How long you can last without either."

"They're hidden away in the house somewhere." Carys turned her back on him and walked towards the staircase "You need to find them, first."

He watched her walk away, his jaw hanging open in shock. He couldn't decide if she was serious or not, if she wasn't, he hoped she wouldn't mind having him mess up her home looking for them.

"Oh, and Matt?"

Carys' was on the bottom step, and she threw him an evil glare "Don't even think about messing this place up. They're not down here."

He gaped at her, at a loss.
"Right, so I can mess the upper floor up right?"

"You should know better than that." she hopped upstairs, smirking to herself. She shook her head and walked into the bathoom, listening intently

Matt shook his head and bolted up the stairs after her, stumbling over the top steps.
"Come on, Car, tell me where they are!"

"You can live without for one night, Matt," she looked behind her, toothbrush hanging from her mouth "Really, it's not that important, is it?"

"And anyway, I don't have any games."

He slumped against the door frame, looking severely disappointed.
"Jez Car, how can you have game consoles and no games? What a drag."

She glared back at him, before placing her toothbrush down and sweeping past him and into her bedroom "I can kick you out as easily as I took you in, Jeevas. Watch your damn mouth."

Matt sighed and followed her, looking defeated.
"You win for now... but tomorrow we should go buy games."

"Whatever," she shrugged, pulling off her vest and replacing it with a t-shirt, before climbing into bed and grabbing her half-red book "I can deal, I suppose."

"Only if you buy me the new Touhou game."

"Deal." he agreed, happy to have games in sight now.
He looked around the room and then back at her. "So, where do I sleep?"

"Well," she groped around the bedside table for her reading glasses, and placed them on her nose. She then motioned to the empty space beside her "There. Or there's the couch. Your choice, I suppose."

He grinned and moved over to the bed, kicking off his boots and sitting on its edge.
"You really think I'd choose the couch? You should know me better."

"Well, who knows?" she smiled half-heartedly "You could have changed...."

She got back to her book almost immediately, half casting glances over to him.

"Nah, it hasn't been that long." he said, getting all the way onto the bed and leaning back against the pillows with a sigh.

"You still take up the whole damn bed, anyway," she snickered, putting her book down, pulling her glasses and rolling onto her side "Light's at your side. G'night."

He felt somewhat disappointed from the lack of action she was giving him, but he thought nothing of it. He turned off the light as asked and laid down net to her. He stared into the dark room and he couldn't sleep. He had a long time of being insomniac but as he felt her body heat with her, he turned to face her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Good night" he whispered against her neck and closed his eyes.
