She knew from the look he gave her that it probably sounded very foreign and foolish to him, but for her it was like one of the novels she read where the heroes broke the rules for their own means.
"And how shall I go about that?" she asked - she knew next to nothing about the whole thing herself.

He wondered just what to really ask from her. He decided that it was simple, he wanted her to teach him about these emotions he had been keeping at bay to everyone in general.

"Humanize me" he said.

His words touched and bothered her at the same time. She was saddened because it brought home just how robotic that many of the people she'd grown up with were, how little humanity they actually had.
"I can only try." she responded.

He smiled and tried to do something human, trying to reach her. He stretched out his hand and grabbed hers trying to show some sort of comfort. His lips twitched and he looked at her seriously.

"How will you start?" he asked.

Her fingers tingled and she experimentally squeezed his hand, trying to figure out this new task.
"I honestly have no clue." she sighed after a few moments.

He frowned slightly and he tugged her hands upwards and kissed her hand looking at her innocently. He had scene it countless of times in movies and it aided the process.

"We can learn from a book perhaps?" he asked.

She figured she could have literally melted, and couldn't help but laugh softly.
"Maybe." she smiled.

He tugged her along towards the couch and he wondered what to do next. The case was the last thing on his mind which switched around his whole priorities. He wondered what would happen if they were to kiss again. He merely was content with hand holding.

She sat down next to him, still clasping his fingers, her mind wandering. This was utterly new to her; she didn't have much for human contact anyway, and this was something on a completely different level.

He looked down at their hands and wondered just how nice and normal it felt to hold her hand. She by no means pulled away, but she seemed a little distracted. He felt that in some way she was the same with contact.

"This is new to you too" he murmured.

"Yes of course." she responded, nodding slightly. She looked at their hands, experimentally flexing her fingers. New it may be, but it wasn't at all something bad.

He felt a tug at his stomach and wondered just how she was able to cause this. Her hands were long and thin, but nothing compared to his larger hands. Her hands were so small and delicate as was she he noticed.

"We are both are awkward are we not?" he asked somewhat surprised.

He was somehow frustrated at the fact that he didn't know something.

"We are; but how could we not be?" she sighed, looking up at him.
"We've only ever been around each other, Watari, and the others back home - how are we supposed to know what to do and why?"
In all the books she'd read, in all the movies she'd seen, and in all the gossip from others she'd heard, she'd never learned how to truly be human.

He nodded just thinking about how true her statement was. He was never really used to having emotions towards someone, especially someone who had been there all the time.

"How are we to learn?" he mumbled. "All I know is you are....tolerable and pleasant"

He felt that it was almost frustrated at how hard compliments came from him when he knew of her emotions.

She smiled slightly at what he had called her; it was amusing and sweet at the same time.
"I guess time will be our mentor in this case." she thought aloud.

He nodded and turned to face her and his lips twitched.

"I enjoyed it, if it makes you feel any better" he said.

He squeezed her hand showing that he was capable to react to actions, somewhat. He wasn't ready yet to tell her he ...loved her. That would be a lie, and he didn't lie.

"It does improve my mood." she agreed. She enjoyed seeing him smile; he never seemed to do so very much anymore.
Again she found herself thinking of years past, when things weren't as serious as they had become, and there wasn't so much to worry about. She missed those days.

He nodded and simply stared at the wall awkwardly as he still held her hand. He wondered if he had to do things now, just to please her...to be honest he didn't like it too much if it ruined his normal routine.

"Then what is our established title?" he asked.

"I'm not sure, honestly." she responded, twisting the tip of one strand of her hair around her fingers. In the normal world, assuming they were normal people, perhaps this would be considered "dating" in some sense. But from her knowledge, she wasn't sure if that would be the correct term for it.

He nodded and felt somewhat frustrated. He couldn't help but wonder if he was that frustrating himself? Sora and him were alike, almost to a point where he knew just how she acted and the significance of her mannerisms.

"I see...we are a conundrum are we not?" he commented.

"We most certainly are." she agreed with a small nod.
She leaned against the back of the couch and closed her eyes for a moment, considering things. It was very frustrating to have a problem that wasn't easily solved with simple knowledge.

He sighed and he subconsciously copied her movements. He wondered just how different it would be if they were normal. He smirked slightly thinking about how they used the term normal. That wasn't possible, no one is "normal" and no one fit the mold, especially them.

"Would you want more than what we have now?" he asked.

"Well..." she thought for a moment before answering his question. She had liked him for some time, back from when they were quite young if she remembered correctly. The question was if they could pull of some sort of relationship closer than the one they had at the present.
"I suppose that if you would, I would as well." she answered.

He tilted his head and nodded.

"This cannot affect our case in any way, you must understand this. The moment it does, it must end immediately because I cannot have distractions. Understood?" he asked.

She blinked, almost not daring to believe what was happening, though feeling oddly happy at the same time.
"Of course, this case is more important than anything we've ever done or may do in the future." she concurred. She couldn't help but to smile slightly anyways.
