He felt his heart beating faster and he placed his hand on his chest trying to figure out why he was going through this. He hoped he wasn't having a stroke or a heart attack but there was no pain on his arm.

He shook her slightly trying to get her to utter whatever she was holding back. Whatever she had to say, he knew that it would change them.

She couldn't take the pressure any longer. Squeezing her eyes shut, her mouth formed the words she had meant to say for years, though she didn't hear any sound emittance, though perhaps that was just her.

He squinted his brows confused at her comment. He leaned forward and tilted his head wondering what she wanted to utter. He blinked and pulled back as he heard the words ringing in his head over and over again.

"I love you" was what he had never heard before in his whole life.

He looked at her and wondered when would she opened her eyes once more to face her, but as he saw it wasn't going to happen soon, he remembered something. Movies, while he despised them, he had seen plenty with the gir-no woman beside him. Every confession ended with a kiss.

He leaned forward awkwardly and pressed his thin lips against hers.

Her eyes snapped open once she felt his lips on hers - her first kiss. Her mind was racing, unbelieving the last minutes and how suddenly this had all come on. And now this, did that mean that he felt the same about her? What would happen next? There were so many questions now, but Soar for once just went with the moment, her lashes closing again.

He blinked wondering if he was doing anything right. He saw her eyes open, but as they closed once more it clicked in his mind that he was supposed to close his eyes like in the films. His grip on her shoulders loosened and he slid them down to her waist knowing that's how her mushy movies ended.

He wondered that if it would help her feel better. He just went along and froze slightly feeling her respond.

She almost had to pinch herself to make sure this wasn't a wild dream. Her analytical mind knew that it was not, however, and everything was truly happening.
When she felt him lower his hands to her waist, she couldn't help but smile in the slightest, and raise her own arms to drape around his thin shoulders.

He froze slightly feeling her touching him. It was weird for him to feel her being so intimate considering they had created boundaries to work efficiently. He decided that feeling something warm against him wasn't bad at all and he felt something primal inside of him.

It was funny how years of asexual nature it suddenly appeared a feeling of need. She was already trustworthy that was obvious, but as she crossed the boundary he decided he didn't mind.

She could feel that he was keeping his body tense out of uncertainty, yet who could blame him? She herself didn't exactly know or understand what was going on, but she did know she could easily get used to this. Touching and being touched by another person made her feel different, and she liked that different.

He decided that no matter how much was getting used to the touch of a female, he suddenly needed air. He pulled back and gasped for air. He noticed that his ears were red and his breath heavy. He wondered how some small interaction affected him so.

He then looked down and really took notice of her. Her lashes were long and her mismatched eyes which were currently closed were something that he always envisioned without meaning to. She was not Watari, she was a woman, a real woman and for her to even find some interest in him seemed unnatural.

She opened her eyes as he pulled away, panting slightly. She imagined that her face had become unbecomingly reddened, which made her feel a bit self conscience. The fact that he was staring at her didn't help the matter one bit.

He refused to blink, but instead concentrate to study her features. He was a little annoyed at himself for never seeing her as anything more than a confidant, he never noticed how her hair framed her face or how awkwardly shy she was around him. As her face became redder and redder was when he released his grip on her.

"Sora..." he began awkwardly. "Are you alright?"

He'd said her name again, she could hardly believe it.
"Yes... just fine... Eru..." it was so odd to use their true names after going months or perhaps years without hearing them.

He felt something against his chest as he heard her say his name. He hadn't heard her names for years, and hearing her say it from the lips he had touched made him feel uncomfortable.

"Great...Sora" he whispered.

His tone was softer than usual.

She glanced down, tugging at her hair a bit awkwardly. She had no idea what would happen now, and frankly she wasn't able to think of something either, so she simply nodded.

He frowned slightly knowing that things were changing. He felt that he was leading her on on whatever feeling she was currently feeling.

"About your feelings...Sora I appreciate them. But you cannot expect me to immediately feel the same way about you."

The little cloud of some sort of emotion that had formed in her chest felt as though it had suddenly been punctured.
"Oh... That's understandable, of course." she responded, perhaps a bit too quickly.

He knew that she was instantly going back to her submissive insecure mind and he sighed.

"Let me finish, but I must admit what just occurred was...pleasant" he mumbled as an after thought.

Her head snapped up. "Really?"
"I mean... I thought that as well." she corrected herself sheepishly, frustrated that she seemed to have lost all emotional restraint.

He felt his lips twitch at her change of tone. It seemed that his comment affected her.

"Good to know Sora" he commented with his gaze showing his amusement.

He looked up and sighed wondering what this meant.

"Now...if I enjoyed that interaction, which is absolutely foreign to me, that means that there is some rooted emotion."

"Perhaps." she nodded, a small smile forming. It amused her that even with trivial things like emotion he tried to find a logical explanation.

He nodded and began to wonder what caused.

"I suppose they are either repressed hormones which I transmit to the opposite sex, that being you of course, but that wouldn't explain why it didn't just appear if it was just hormones. Though I do feel a sense of endorphins after our interaction, so I believe that I quite like that." he wondered aloud. "What do you think?"

She laughed softly, beginning to feel more at ease with the more familiar talk.
"I think you're putting far too much thought into this." she responded, smiling.

He looked down at her and looked at her in a deadpan expression.

"Am I?" he asked. "Then do tell me what I should be thinking?"

She considered his question a moment before replying.
"Well... maybe this is something that doesn't need much thought." she began, thinking aloud. "Perhaps it's more of an instance where you let yourself go with the flow."

He looked at her as if she was joking. He gave her a look stating something along the same lines as "Are you joking?" or 'do you know who you are talking to?'.

He shook his head and tilted his head at her.

"Well....maybe you can teach me Sora" he said.
